Unity promotes harmony, unity promotes development. In the 60 years since the founding of the Autonomous Region, especially since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, Party committees and governments at all levels in Guangxi have conscientiously implemented the Party’s ethnic policies and solidly promoted ethnic work. More than 56 million people of all ethnic groups are as close as one family, united and worked together to realize the “Chinese Dream”. The land of Bagui has achieved leapfrog development in its economy and society, and people’s lives have undergone historic changes.

Harmony, unity and family

In history, the status of various ethnic groups in Guangxi was unequal and conflicts were constantly occurring. After the founding of New China, Guangxi gradually established an equal, united, mutually aid and harmonious relationship between people of all ethnic groups. Today, ethnic unity has become a high consensus among the people of all ethnic groups in Bagui, and has been deeply integrated into people’s blood.

There is a small Han mountain village called “Sujiazhai” in Mati Township, Longsheng Autonomous County. It has good natural conditions and the villagers live a prosperous life. The Yao people living on the ridge opposite the village have been living in poverty due to the harsh natural environment. After the Yao people moved down the mountain to live with the Han villagers, the two ethnic groups lived in harmony and helped each other. The entire village could almost never close their doors at night, and a moving story was performed. Hu Qiuju, secretary of the Party Committee of Mati Township, told reporters Komiks that “Sujiazhai” was later renamed “Minhezhai”, which means national harmony.

Since ancient times, many ethnic minorities in Guangxi have not intermarried with other ethnic groups, and some even do not interact with each other. Nowadays, the concept of the masses has undergone profound changes. Census data show that Guangxi has more than 1.3 million families composed of two or more ethnic groups. Especially in places where multiple ethnic groups live in Longsheng Autonomous County and Longlin Autonomous County, “a family of nine and a family of love and five ethnic groups” can be seen everywhere.

Mutual respect, mutual assistance and friendship are like a family, which is a true portrayal of the relationship between the Western ethnic groups. Chenshuang Village, Sien Town, Huanjiang Maonan Autonomous County lives in three ethnic groups: Maonan, Miao and Yao. They not only do not compete or compete, but also actively teach each other the unique planting and breeding technologies of their nation, help each other to develop production together, and their living standards continue to improve.

Every year during the Spring Festival, Miao people in Longsheng County go to Yao villages to play the reeds, and Dong people go to Zhuang villages to sing big songs – exchange performances between neighboring villages and towns of various ethnic groups have become the norm. The villagers said that although ethnic groups are different, everyone is like Komiks being relatives, and the more they go, the closer they get.

In the past, many ethnic minorities only knew their own language. Now, the popularity of ordinary language in Guangxi is 84%. Even in the remote mountains, only elderly people can not speak Mandarin.

Working hand in hand to seek common development

Unity and harmony among all ethnic groups has effectively promoted the comprehensive economic and social development. The land of Bagui has undergone earth-shaking changes, and it has further consolidated the material foundation of national unity: Guangxi’s GDP exceeded 20,000 million yuan, more than 800 times that of 60 years ago; the per capita disposable income of urban and rural residents exceeded 30,000 yuan and 10,000 yuan respectively.

Deep changes are reflected in the details of life of people of all ethnic groups. In Paifangzhai, Cha Village, Cinema, the old Zhuang man BenlunKomiks told reporters that it was not easy to eat meat in the past. Every household had a jar on the stove, which contained a small piece of fat meat. When cooking, pick up the meat and danced it at the bottom of the pot. Just use it repeatedly. When the guests came, they would “dance” a few more times.

“Dance and danced” have become a memory of Babaylan. Paifang Zhuangzhai developed ethnic tourism, and Benlun and his family opened a farmhouse, and their life has completely changed. He said that the first thing that was eaten on the dining table at home is fresh vegetables, “no one wants to use their chopsticks.” ”

Due to various reasons such as nature and history, the settlement areas of ethnic minorities in Guangxi are generally poor areas. In the process of poverty alleviation, Guangxi has provided targeted support in combination with the living environment, customs and resource endowments of various ethnic groups, and achieved remarkable results in targeted poverty alleviation.

Reporter href=”https://funnybookish.com/”>CinemaIn Rongshui Miao Autonomous County, during the relocation of poverty alleviation, Mengwu Miao Village, located in the mountains of northern Guangxi, was relocated to the nearest county town as a whole. The local party committee and government combined with the needs of tourism development to dismantle the stilt house where the villagers lived and transported it to a new site to restore and rebuilt. The new Mengwu Miao Village is integrated with the 4A-level scenic area next to Shuanglonggou, like a pastoral landscape. The ethnic customs and tourist attractions are superimposed, and the Miao people have been lifted out of poverty.

In Guangxi, ethnic customs have become a characteristic tourism resource. The unique farming culture in the mountains of Longsheng County has been preserved in a relatively complete manner. The layered terraced landscape and ethnic customs have attracted a large number of tourists, 200KomiksThe villages of Yuhumen have opened more than 120 hotels and B&Bs, and they are all full every holiday.

“I am Chinese, I am very proud”

The Jing ethnic group located in the Beibu Gulf region is a relatively small ethnic group in my country with a total population of more than 20,000 people. For a long time, the Beijing ethnic group has been attended by the National People’s Congress. The Beijing ethnic group is a member of the Beijing ethnic group. href=”https://funnybookish.com/”>CinemaHe Ling was elected as a representative of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. The Beijing people are very proud to have representatives participate in the grand events of political life throughout the Party and nation. Li Fuqiang, director of the Ethnic Research Center of Guangxi University for Nationalities, said: “Guangxi focuses on coordinating the relationship between the leadership of the Party and regional ethnic autonomy of the region. Under this premise, all ethnic groups, regardless of size, are equal, and all rights in politics, development, etc. must be fully guaranteed and respected.” At the same time, Guangxi is also focusing on coordinating open development and href=”https://funnybookish.com/”>BabaylanThe relationship between national culture protection. Up to now, Guangxi has recognized 618 representative projects of intangible cultural heritage at the autonomous region level, with 555 inheritors, and excellent national culture has been inherited. The Zhuang song and dance culture represented by “Liu Sanjie” has a wide influence at home and abroad. Luoyue culture represents “Huashan Rock Painting” and has become a world cultural heritage. Long Sheng and Hongyao’s long-haired dance has attracted countless Chinese and foreign tourists…

A few days ago, the Maonan Phonetic Art Troupe of Huanjiang Maonan Autonomous County held a five-day performance exchange in New York, USA, and was very popular. Deputy County Mayor Wei Luhua said: “While the Maonan people accelerating their open development, their national culture has been well protected and inherited. Now the Maonan people are becoming more confident and willing to communicate with the outside world.”

In Guangxi, by practicing the core socialist values, implementing the “Border Party Flag Red” project, and “Prospering the Border and Rising the People” action, the Chinese nation community of all ethnic groups has become stronger. On the Sino-Vietnam border, the most beautiful scenery is a five-star red flag fluttering in the wind. Luo Wenfang, a 64-year-old Beijing-nation man from Chengwei Village, Jiangping Town, Dongxing City, became rich by engaging in border trade. Since 1988, he spontaneously raised high flagpoles in front of his home and insisted on hanging five-star red flags every day, which has never changed in 30 years. Luo Wenfang told reporters: “I am Chinese and I am very proud.”
